While backstage, Dice tells PEOPLE the moment comes "full circle," as he opened up for the guys "back in the day" 30 years ago at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, and has even famously credited himself for helping the band reunite in 2019.

In the open court of the complex that fall day the Alexandrians discovered another silver platform, on which stood two massive golden thrones. Mark Antony occupied one. Addressing her as the “New Isis,” he invited Cleopatra to join him on the other. She appeared in the full regalia of that goddess, a pleated, lustrously striped chiton, its fringed edge reaching to her ankles.

The Royal Diaries is a series of 20 books published by Scholastic Press from 1999 to 2005. In each of the books, a fictional diary of a real female figure of royalty as a child throughout world history was written by the author.

If you are one of the millions of players who like the Egyptian theme, (and we guess you are if you have read up to here), her diary is waiting to be opened up at some of our best-rated online casinos.

Good grief, I generally enjoy the Royal Diaries, but this one is just awful. I've read it twice now, thinking that perhaps the first time I was just being unfair, but I couldn't finish slogging through it the second time.

But it was also because Caesar had no other sons – though he was married to Calpurnia, and had had two wives before her – and he had just made himself the most powerful man in Rome.

We also don't see Cleopatra's development. We don't see her grow from a child of 12 to a young woman of 14. The diary doesn't show us her thoughts or attitude in politics or any changes in thoughts she might have considering Rome since she spent a lot of time there.

Historically, she's an interesting person. But in this book, she's all over the place. Cleopatra is sweet but has this constant fear of being killed by either her sister or her people. She lives the life of a website royal but she is 'feels bad' about how their slaves and servants are treated as if she's never grown up with it her whole life.

Wouldn't it be so much more interesting to see Cleopatra slowly give up her nice Disney-princess traits to become a strong and intelligent leader who will do whatever it takes to assure her survival? Even if it means developing intimate ties with 'barbarians' as she calls it.

This oversized book was a study of Egyptian life in the first century B.C., a biography of Cleopatra, and a story about a young handmaiden, Nefret. The details of life then were fascinating. I must admit, I was surprised to see how graphic a few of the illustrations were; for example, the murdered Julius Caesar lies bloody while a senator knees nearby and throws up; a woman throws a slop jar that is clearly filled with pee and turds out of a window (did they really do that in Egypt??).

Unlike Dear America, which consisted of diaries of young girls living during pivotal periods in American history, The Royal Diaries is a series that features women of royalty from all over the world.
